Welcome to MyOrama! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and personal use of the MyOrama vocational orientation and evaluation platform (the “Platform”). Please read them carefully before finalizing your account deployment.

1. WHO CAN USE THE PLATFORM (AGE & PARENTAL CONSENT)

MyOrama is specifically designed to provide tailored professional orientation pathways for youth and young adults aged 13 to 20. Because you are registering directly as an individual standalone consumer, the following legal frameworks apply based on your capacity to contract:

  • Users Aged 13 to 15 (Minors): You require the explicit permission, verification, and active financial involvement of your parent or legal guardian to provision an account. By executing the registration and providing an approved payment method, the parent or guardian agrees to be legally bound by these Terms and assumes full technical oversight of the minor’s interactions with the Platform.
  • Users Aged 15 to 17 (Minors): Pursuant to European data protection regulations (including Greek Law 4624/2019), you can legally accept these Terms and our cross-referenced Privacy Policy independently to initiate psychometric and vocational processing. However, transactional checkout and monetary payment processing must be carried out exclusively by an adult of legal majority.
  • Users Aged 18 to 20 (Adults): You possess full direct capacity to enter into legally binding contracts. By interacting with the registration check-box, you enter into a directly binding legal contract with MyOrama.

2. SUBSCRIPTIONS, PAYMENTS, AND CANCELLATIONS

  • Individual License Model: B2C standalone accounts are granted exclusively for individual, non-commercial, personal career discovery. Sharing, leasing, sub-licensing, or transferring account credentials to classmates, peers, or external entities is strictly prohibited.
  • Billing and Payment Security: All financial checkouts must be authorized by an adult account holder. Transactions are processed via secure external payment infrastructure (e.g., Stripe, Viva Wallet). Prices are denominated clearly at point-of-sale and include mandatory indirect taxation (VAT) adjusted dynamically according to consumer location rules.
  • Immediate Delivery & Refund Policy: Under EU consumer protection regulations, individual digital buyers maintain a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. However, because MyOrama serves immediate digital services and customized algorithmic data output, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that once you log in and initiate any part of a psychometric or vocational test, you waive this statutory refund window as performance has actively begun.

3. PLATFORM INTEGRITY & ALGORITHMIC SAFEGUARDS

To protect our unique computational models, vocational recommendation engines, and prevent network exploitation, you commit to strict technical operational hygiene:

  • Data Input Accuracy: The dynamic accuracy of your ultimate career map relies directly on genuine responses. You agree to interact with all text prompt scenarios and multiple-choice matrices honestly, without bad-faith distortion.
  • Artificial Intelligence & Automation Ban: You are explicitly barred from utilizing large language models (LLMs like ChatGPT), automated scripts, artificial intelligence scrapers, custom plug-ins, or browser bots to auto-complete evaluations or stress-test backend logic maps.
  • Anti-Scraping Protocols: Systematic extraction of static question blocks, graphic pathways, systemic metadata, or administrative data assets via screen scrapers or crawling code is completely forbidden.
  • Shared Terminal Hygiene: You are solely responsible for credential secrecy. If accessing MyOrama via shared terminal networks or school lab hardware, you must actively log out to protect historical answer matrices from unauthorized tamper.
  • Algorithmic Processing & Anonymized AI Usage: To evaluate your vocational responses and generate your career compatibility metrics, the Platform utilizes automated systems, predictive scoring models, and artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Anonymized Data Processing: Our AI algorithms analyze your test choices, questionnaire inputs, and career preference responses using completely anonymized datasets. Your direct personal identifiers (such as your real name, billing records, or contact email) are fully stripped away and decoupled before this data is processed by our analytical engine.
  • No Automated Legal Effects: AI provides educational guidance, matching suggestions, and structural insights only. It does not make automated legal decisions, impact your institutional school grading, or determine concrete employment outcomes.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & DATA ASSETS

  • Platform Proprietary Ownership: MyOrama explicitly retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Platform infrastructure, proprietary question banks, source code components, algorithmic weights, visual design skins, and trademark logos.
  • Scope of Limited License: We provision a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to access the cloud-hosted environment for your direct educational development.
  • Reporting Artifact Ownership: While you retain raw ownership of your true personal inputs, the formatted report output documents, custom metric charts, situational graphs, and aggregated data summaries are proprietary property of MyOrama. You maintain the right to download, archive, and print these assets for individual guidance context, excluding commercial deployment.

5. PRIVACY, AWS EEA DATA RESIDENCY, & DSA COMPLIANCE

  • Data Minimization Engineering: MyOrama implements strict privacy-by-design frameworks. The Platform interface is designed to execute successfully without demanding or storing unstructured personal data assets such as transcripts, official identification papers, files, or user profile pictures.
  • Strict European Data Sovereignty: All core profile attributes, transactional references, relational answers, and analytical weights are hosted, processed, and maintained strictly within safe Amazon Web Services (AWS) data center regions located in the European Economic Area (EEA) (e.g., Frankfurt, Dublin, or Athens).
  • Digital Services Act (DSA) Protections: Pursuant to Article 28 of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), MyOrama explicitly engineers youth-centric platform guardrails: (1) Total omission of commercial, sponsored, or third-party marketing ads; (2) Prevention of algorithmic behavioral tracking aimed at targeted product monetizations; (3) Explicit omission of manipulative ‘dark patterns’ or addictive design loops engineered to artificially force user online duration.

6. TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS & LIABILITY CAPS

  • Educational Context Only: MyOrama is an educational guidance infrastructure, not a licensed clinical psychological evaluator or an official admissions bureau. Recommendations represent scientific data markers meant for exploration; they do not guarantee specific tertiary university placement, professional certification, or career hiring outcomes.
  • Technical Delivery & Availability: While we operate utilizing high-availability AWS architecture, we do not declare the Platform completely error-free or uninterrupted. MyOrama accepts no liability for transient state data loss or session drops caused by individual ISP failures, weak cellular handshakes, or local terminal hardware problems.
  • Contractual Liability Ceiling: To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, MyOrama’s cumulative financial liability for any damage claim relating to this agreement is strictly capped at the exact currency amount paid by that individual subscriber during the immediate 12 months preceding the liability trigger event.

7. REGULATORY REPORTING AND COMPLIANCE CHANNELS

In direct alignment with DSA consumer protection pillars, if you spot an algorithmic calculation error, experience an active system bug, or suspect an account compromise, you have access to simplified reporting tools. Activate the permanent “Get Help / Report” trigger situated clearly on your account navigation sidebar. In accordance with legal SLAs, our technical ops center evaluates submissions within 24 to 48 hours and broadcasts an accessible plain-language breakdown back to your dashboard panel.

8. AMENDMENTS AND GOVERNING JURISDICTION

  • Policy Update Deployments: We reserve the right to adapt these clauses to reflect infrastructure shifts or upcoming regulatory modifications. Material updates trigger a child-friendly, split-screen split modal screen forcing clear acceptance prior to unlocking active workspace dashboards.
  • Dispute Forums: These Terms are executed and governed by the laws of Greece and overarching European Union mandates. Any formal legal challenge arising out of this standalone individual agreement will be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of Athens, Greece.
