Meet MyOrama

MyOrama is a development tool that helps young people understand who they are, identify aspects of their character, their motives, and their strengths. The goal is for individuals to discover, through MyOrama, the study direction and career path that truly suits them. We don’t put people in boxes or predict their future.

Instead, we give them the right tools to make more conscious decisions based on their own identity, not on the expectations of others.

MyOrama was brought to life by an interdisciplinary team of experts with 35 years of experience  in education, psychometrics, and career guidance, working in collaboration with international organizations and assessment standards.

The Idea

Every year, thousands of young people are called upon to make one of the most important decisions of their lives: what to study and which career path to follow, usually without having formed a meaningful picture of what truly suits them.

These choices are often shaped by external influences: the opinions of others, social expectations, or perceptions of what is considered “right” or “safe.” But when there is no clear understanding of one’s personal traits and potential, even an apparently good choice can lead to a path that doesn’t genuinely fit the individual.

The data confirms it:

9 in 10 say they would have made different choices if they had had a better picture of their potential and options.
(GTI Media Career Survey)
1 in 2 students changes or considers changing their field of study.
(YouScience – Post-Graduation Readiness Report, 2025)
4 in 10 students have no clear picture of their professional future.
(OECD – The State of Global Teenage Career Preparation, 2025)

The challenge is not a lack of options. It is a lack of a clear picture of what truly fits each individual. MyOrama was created to fill this gap.

Drawing on the long-standing scientific expertise of Evalion-SHL in skills assessment and human development, we designed MyOrama so that this knowledge reaches people earlier, where it can make the greatest difference.

So that every young person can recognize what sets them apart and make the most of it, building their own path with greater confidence.

  • Security and Data Protection Full GDPR compliance ensures that personal data is protected at every stage of the process.

The MyOrama Vocational Guidance series includes:

3 questionnaires and 6 aptitude tests, designed to provide a comprehensive and multi-dimensional picture of the individual for their studies and career path. The results function as a practical, recommended guide that facilitates the connection between personal traits and meaningful choices for the future.

Specifically, the user is asked to complete:

Questionnaires

Personality Questionnaire

Key traits and preferences are identified across 23 dimensions, forming a clear picture of the self. The results shape a clearer self-image and help identify study and career options that connect more meaningfully with the individual's personal profile.

Motivation Questionnaire

The factors that most activate and drive the individual in a study or work environment are identified. This facilitates the selection of career directions that are a better fit and can lead to greater satisfaction.

Interests Questionnaire

The activities and professional fields that attract the most interest are identified. This enables a more focused exploration of study and career directions that are closer to the individual's preferences and aspirations.

Ability Tests

Verbal Reasoning

  • Captures fluency in working with words, concepts, and texts.

Numerical Reasoning

Captures the ability to interpret and work with numerical information.

Inductive Reasoning

Highlights the ability to recognize patterns and logical relationships.

Data Checking

Captures attention to detail and the ability to identify errors.
